Today I wore Butterick 8459 to uni. Sorry about the bad photo, I only managed to take one and then my camera promptly died.
I have lots of sewing plans but haven't managed to get anything done since the start of May. Hopefully I can sew a few more things soon so I don't have to start repeating outfits.
Love this dress! The pattern is so lively and colorful.
ReplyDeleteThat's one funky pattern on your dress. Love the colours. I wish I knew how to sew so I could make awesome dresses like you.
ReplyDeleteYou always make the cutest stuff and I love how you put it together. Those boots are so cute. I saw some awhile back and would have never thought to wear them with a pretty dress!!
ReplyDeleteHi! I found you through Me-Made-May, and I am in love with your wardrobe so far! Does today's dress have rooster's in the pattern? Very cute!
ReplyDeleteI love this dress....I'm a big fan of prints and color too! It looks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone.
ReplyDeleteTrisha- good spotting, you can't really tell in this picture but the pattern is a bunch of different coloured roosters and flowers.
It is gorgeous, I love the Doc Martins teamed with soft dresses, reminds me of the grunge phase I went through in high school. The Warehouse did some knock offs a while back which went on sale for $10, I ummed and arghed a little too long, and missed out, have been kicking myself since. Not the price that concerned me, I just was not 100% sure I would wear them in such bold colours, now I long for the purple ones. Maybe the thrifting gods will be kind to me...
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining Mhats on the Mannequin too, look forward to seeing your pictures pop up in the pool!
