Jeans and a tee

So, I've finished what are possibly my last exams ever.  I haven't been sewing anything lately (I know, that seems to be my constant refrain at the moment).

Anyway, I haven't worn jeans much in the last couple of years because it's so hard to find ones that I like and that fit me. I recently got these 1970s ones off Etsy. I've been looking for some 70s or at least 70s style jeans for ages. Hilariously, the label says 'Dry Clean Only'. Yeah, like I'm going to dry clean a pair of jeans.

I don't even know what's with my pose here.

Jeans: Etsy
T shirt: Trademe
70s platforms: Etsy
Scarf: Used to belong to my grandma
Belt: Op shopped

    1. Well, hopefully. Unless I decide to go back and do more uni. Thanks!

  2. Ugh you look amazing. Those jeans are perfect and your blog is basically my biggest inspiration to actually put some effort into dressing myself in the mornings.

High-five for last exams ever! Congrats.

    1. Thanks. Ha, well I don't always put effort into getting dressed. I just don't post about when I wear the same skirt 3 days in a row because I can't think what to wear.

      Thanks!

  3. Also that label is hilarious. I always look at care labels before saying 'no' and hand-washing them in my bathroom sink.

    1. Me too. Handwashing with wool wash is way better than drycleaning. All those nasty chemicals they use freak me out.

  4. You look precious. I don't wear jeans/trousers really, but I do love 70's bellbottoms and jeans, as they do fit me better than ones today. I never listen to the labels, haha :) xx

    1. Thanks! Neither do I normally. I'm usually strictly dresses and skirts.

  6. Whoa! It's like I went back to my youth! You look VERY '70's from someone who was there! Congratulations on finishing your exams! I have one semester left but my exams start Friday 5.30pm (who has exams that time!) and then Sat, Monday and Tue. I hope you get a job quickly .. if that's what you want and at the very least a good break!

    1. Thanks! I was going for a total 70's look. Thanks! Good luck for your exams. That's an awful time. Our lastest ones finish at 5.30pm. I'm actually going overseas for a while so I won't be looking for a job just yet.

  16. Those jeans are great. I don't usually like jeans a lot either, I only wear the ones I have made myself, which are more like trousers than jeans.

  17. I slightly choked when I read the post title!
How fabularse are those jeans?! You look rather cute in them! I actually DO like jeans, but look dreadful and feel worse in them, so haven't owned any since I was a kid. I love to see other ladies rock them though, especially as stylishly as you are!
Congrats on finishing your exams! What a relief that must be!
